Job Duties

Responsible for the coordination of employee benefit claims and payroll discrepancies.  Assists in the administration of company retirement plan. Compiles benefit cost projections and analysis.  Acts as a source of employee benefit and payroll information.  Enrolls employees in the benefit program and maintains all employee benefit files and assisting with the distribution of the payroll. Responsible for communication with Payroll and Benefits. Responsible for enforcing the privacy rules pursuant to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) as applicable to Mohegan Sun. Performs other related duties as assigned. Promotes superior customer service.

 

 

Minimum Qualifications

Two years of experience in benefit administration in a business environment. General understanding of payroll procedures.  The position requires excellent oral and written communication skills, and experience communicating with all staff members and management.  Must be able to use a computer at a basic proficiency level.  Must be able to handle confidential matters.
