Brand Director, Online Marketing

The Brand Marketing organization develops value propositions, delivers market insights and analysis, and plans communication for individual business units throughout Capital One. Responsibilities:- Lead a multi-functional Brand Marketing engagement with our US Card internet marketing business- Responsible for driving highly effective online marketing strategies based on industry best practices, test results, consumer insights, and competitive/market movements- Lead the cross functional development of direct marketing campaigns across the full media and creative value chains, including with both internal Brand Advertising resources and external ad agencies- Create and manage online marketing calendar with all associated media planning/buying and creative production requirements- Creative development budget management and reporting- Responsible for coaching and development of staff members, talent matching and resource deployment, performance management and identifying and providing training opportunitiesJob Experience:Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree- 7 years of brand and/or marketing experience- 4 years of online marketing experience (i.e. search, display, and affiliate channels) Preferred Qualifications:- Advanced degree, preferably an MBA- Strong writing and presentation skills, including the ability to present and defend marketing plans,recommendations, and conclusions based on test results, research findings, analysis, and insights- Experience in leading a team of marketing professionals- Ability to lead internal and vendor teams in executing large scale projects, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects that are in various stages in the process concurrently- Experience at a Fortune 500 company- Lead a multi-functional Brand Marketing engagement with our US Card internet marketing business- Responsible for driving highly effective online marketing strategies based on industry best practices, test results, consumer insights, and competitive/market movements- Lead the cross functional development of direct marketing campaigns across the full media and creative value chains, including with both internal Brand Advertising resources and external ad agencies- Create and manage online marketing calendar with all associated media planning/buying and creative production requirements- Creative development budget management and reporting- Responsible for coaching and development of staff members, talent matching and resource deployment, performance management and identifying and providing training opportunities CAPITAL ONE WILL NOT FILE NON-IMMIGRANT VISA PETITIONS FOR ALIEN WORKERS.Expected Travel Time: None
