JOB DESCRIPTION:
Quadrem, a global Business to Business e-Marketplace company, is seeking an individual to fill the position of Business Analyst I - Billing & Financial Information Services in our Plano, TX office. This role reports to the Manager, Billing & Financial Information Services.
The Business Analyst I – Billing & Financial Information Services has responsibility for assisting with the growth and administration as it relates to the practice of Quadrem’s capability in internal management of billing, financial and reporting practices. The role performs tasks related to the ongoing development and administration of business productivity tools related to these areas as well as driving efficiencies in these key fundamental areas. The Business Analyst I – Billing & Financial Information Services has responsibility to assist in efforts to scale back office business practices to accommodate growth in Quadrem’s strategic business initiatives.
This role assists with owning tasks related to administration, specification and production delivery of the business productivity applications and will be responsible for delivering quality product releases on time and within budget while meeting the needs of our customers (internal & external).
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:
· Knowledge of the procurement process and supply chain management focus on mining and oil & gas, industries preferred
· Strong analytical capabilities and detail oriented
· Experience in implementation, development and management of billing/accounting and reporting applications
· BS or equivalent experience required
· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks across functions
· Demonstrated ability to collect, record and deliver defined requirements
· Creative, self-starter, team-player
· Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
· Customer-oriented attitude and excellent interpersonal skills required
· Creative, self-starter, team player
· Fluent in English (both oral and written)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assist with driving efficiencies throughout the organization in the areas of billing and financial information services by improving the intractability of process, and practice either through effective productivity tool enhancement, practice integration or process improvements.
· Own tasks related to the productivity tool life cycle and productivity tool pathway for billing and financial information service products that deliver identified improvement opportunities that will enhance back office efficiency and value.
· Provide administration and support to customers and internal staff on billing and reporting productivity tool issues, issue impacts, and problems
· Manage tasks related to enhancements / patches to productivity tools with Technology/Product Solution Marketing, and Operations
· Provide assistance to support productivity tool and service related information to knowledge management effort, such that information can be shared across the entire organization

Participate in regular meetings to share information as it relates to solutions and implementations and resolve post-product implementation issues for business users. Collaborate to understand enhancements to business processes and address localization aspects.
Accounting and Finance
Work with teams to identify, and deploy requirements and functional enhancements to existing systems, as well as developing new solutions to scale back office business practices leading to automation as often as possible. Engineering reporting solutions that will serve customers (internal and external) in allowing access to information as easily and quickly as possible.
Technical IT Development
Create functional specifications and work with IT to coordinate delivery of value-added enhancements and new and existing billing and financial information productivity tools. Liaise with to assess degree of technical capability/ work and ensure appropriate planning and quality requirements are in place for delivery. Assist in the effective communication of existing business initiatives as they progress throughout the Product Application Release Cycle.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
