Business Banker

Job Description:Join a growing team committed to being the best! Regions Bank is looking for an energetic, self-starter who excels at interacting with small business clients. The Business Banker develops, manages and sustains these relationships within the Lee/Charlotte county markets by prospecting, cross selling, monitoring the relationship and providing customer service. Affiliations with local businesses and organizations are essential to the success of this position, and sales/cross-sell opportunities can also be found through targeted prospecting, interaction with branch staff and development of Centers of Influence to generate referrals. The Business Banker develops strategies for maintaining and further penetrating existing accounts; and executes the strategy with calls, visits, needs assessment, customer qualification and meeting follow-up to maintain, enhance and expand customer relationships. Business Banking customers are defined as commercial clients with annual sales or revenues of up to $10 million dollars. Qualifications Needed: • 3 -5 years of Business Banking experience, or the equivalent, in a sales/credit capacity. • Proven business-to-business sales and negotiating skills, and the ability to build a portfolio. • Extensive knowledge of bank products, service, policies and standards. • Sound ability to analyze financial statements and credit, and offer appropriate bank products. • Exceptional leadership, customer service and teamwork/teambuilding skills. • Ability to work in a revenue-based, incentive-driven environment, seamlessly delivering all products and services at a service level that differentiates Regions Bank in the marketplace. • College degree or equivalent experience in business, economics or finance preferred.
