We are currently looking for an entry level professional to join our Conference and Exhibition team. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone seeking get into the tradeshow industry. S/he will be responsible for assisting the Vice President and Managing Director of the C&E teams with administrative tasks as needed. S/he will be assisting with budget maintenance, purchase orders, creating and updating Excel spreadsheets, assisting attendees by phone and email with questions and concerns. Assistance with the creation and maintenance of C&E websites will be a component of this role, as will be maintaining competitive show files and gathering and analyzing competitive data. A primary responsibility will also be updating the symposia team on weekly registration numbers.  Travel is required as needed, as is assistance with special projects as assigned.

 

The successful candidate will have a BS/BA or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year experience in trade show industry or meetings and conferences is preferred, however a minimum of 1 year experience in a general administrative role within a fast-paced environment is suitable.  S/he must be highly organized, able to set clear objectives and manage multiple priorities. Customer service skills are a must. Required computer skills for this candidate are a working knowledge of MS Office applications and s/he must be highly proficient in Excel. The C&E Coordinator must have strong written and verbal communication skills with acute attention to detail.
