C#. NET, Test Driven Development

Job Description:We are looking for a resource for our client's Global refineries. We are seeking a senior C#/ .NET developer to participate in a 6 month pilot project. If the pilot is successful it will lead to a long term project affecting all refineries. The pilot will prove that Client's Planning and Evaluation Tool for Refinery Optimization (PETRO), currently run offline by refinery planners, can be adapted to run on a 24 x 7 basis making constant optimizations to the plant Advanced Process Control (APC) units resulting in a fully optimized refinery. Development for the pilot will be in C# using the Test Driven Development (TDD) methodology. Experience in the following are a must: . Experience with manufacturing control systems, real time or scientific application, information processing, algorithms, inference and statistical analysis. . Production development using Visual Studio 2005 in C# and .NET programming. . Candidates should have experience writing windows applications and setting up the application to run as a service . Experience with TDD methodology; real-life experience is a plus. Senior C# .NET Application Developer - Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Provides assistance in the overall coordination of work team. Will work directly with Chevron Lead Engineer and will be responsible for creation of the optimal software architecture to accomplish goals. Must be proficient in C#, MS Visual Studio and VSS.
