CDL Driver

Job Purpose:

Transport and deliver oil field related commercial vehicles 

 

Duties:

* Determine condition of vehicle by inspecting vehicle before and after use; logging and inspection are reporting requirements.

 

* Ensure correct loading of vehicle

 

* Deliver equipment to destination by identifying destination; selecting route; driving the vehicle.

 

* Ensure safe operation of equipment by completing pretrip inspections , calling for repairs and maintaining equipment

 

* Maintain safe vehicle conditions and protect equipment by complying with organization policies and procedures and highway rules and regulations.

 

* Maintains records by completing driver log; obtaining shipper and receiver authorizations;

 

* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

 

Skills/Qualifications:

Must have CDL, clean driving record willingness to work on call and travel. (travel expenses paid by company)

 

Must have 1 year driving experience

 

90 day probation period after 90 days employee eligible for company benefits

(health , dental, life, insurance and vision card )

 

 Drivers with hazmat and tanker endorsements will receive a raise after 30 days or when these endorsements are added .
