Thank you for your interest!This position is part of an 8 person team responsible for Maintenance, Support, Trouble Resolution, Root Cause Analysis and SLA maintenance for a large, enterprise LAN / MAN environment in the Burbank/Glendale area. In addition to daily SLA compliance and routine break-fix duties, this position may develop and manage small projects to enhance & expand the network, including cost analysis, detailed design, project planning, implementation, detailed documentation and cross-training of peers. The selected individual must demonstrate excellent customer service & team building skills and will be required to routinely interact directly with customers and to participate in & foster a “team environment.” This position will frequently be called upon to diagnose difficult network performance problems and interact with application support teams to diagnose network / application performance issues. This position operates in a 7x24x365 SLA driven environment, requiring flexible work hours.These are project based six month positions Education and Typical Years of Experience:College degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline (preferred).Relevant technical certifications such as CCNA, CCNP,Cisco VOIP CCM ver 4.x or 6.xx Experience is Needed5-10 years of WAN / MAN / LAN/Voice network engineering is PREFERRED Professional experience at an enterprise level in network solutions is REQUIRED.Router, switch and IP configuration experience is REQUIRED.IP, DHCP, DNS administration experience (preferred).Specific Requirements:Demonstrated, in-depth, LAN / MAN support & engineering experience (5-10 years).Experience in supporting complex LAN / MAN networks in a large, enterprise environment.Knowledge, skills & experience with Cisco routing & switching hardware, software, protocols, etc.Working knowledge of structured cabling systems, network facilities, electrical, UPS, etc.Substantial knowledge and experience with installation, support & maintenance of Voice networkingExperience using packet / protocol analyzers to find and remedy application and network performance issues.Ability to work alone as an individual contributor or as a participant in a support team environment.Positive, proactive, “can do” attitude.Willingness to participate in rotating schedules and share on-call duties.Ability to respond to on-call / on-site situations ACS is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer and does not discriminate against any applicant on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, age, gender, marital status, disability, sexual orientation, military/veteran status, or any other status protected by Federal or State law or local ordinance.Job Experience:same as aboveExpected Travel Time: None
