CNC ROUTER OPERATOR/MIS DETAILER

General Job Description:CNC Router Operator: Program and operation of CNC Router systems,AXYZ, 6010 and MULTICAM 5000 Will produce files and cut components for panels for signage, 3D letters, custom counters and parts for custom production Work with files generated by the graphics and design department and produce new files when necessary Must have excellent saved file management Maintain inventory, order and restock department materialsMIS Detailer: Work as a liaison between sales, design and production departments to modify/detail/spec designs for production, stability, safety, and facility and show restrictions while maintaining the integrity of the design Generate pull lists (bill of materials) and construction details for the shop Create assembly and installation diagrams/details as required Prepare preliminary and final details as required Support the design department by building models in AutoCAD or creating/revising basic 3D designs for trade show elements, exhibits, and special events using modular components and/or custom components Provide final documents to sales and production departments in the appropriate electronic or hard copy format Perform other tasks as assigned Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent Operational experience with CNC Routers Superior knowledge of design and graphics software such as Corell and AutoCAD, Composer, Adobe Illustrator, Photopaint and Photoshop Knowledge of tooling use and applications, speeds and feeds Knowledge of carpentry production techniques Must be flexible, a self starter and able to work under deadlines Must be a team player with good communication skills Must be able to regularly lift 70 pounds and frequently lift or move up to 100 pounds Must maintain a safe, clean and neat work environment Excellent customer service skills Work Schedule:Business hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. This is a full-time position. Overtime, weekends and holidays often required. Some shift work may be necessary on occasion.
