COMPENSATION ANALYST

People Resources, Inc., a leading Tampa based recruitment firm is seeking a Compensation Analyst for a local, fast growth, service organization .

 

POSITION SUMMARY

Develops compensation programs for both salaried and hourly represented personnel.  Manages the administration of all compensation programs for active employees including compliance issues.  This position requires a high degree of reporting.Analyzes existing policies of the organization, and prevailing practices among similar organizations, to establish and ensure competitive programs.Develops, recommends and implements strategies and programs encompassing total compensation practices to attract and retain talent and support business and market needs.Identifies emerging workforce issues related to compensation  practices and develops innovative solutions.  Recommends changes to management.Ensures regulatory compliance and collaborates with counsel for compensation plans and programs, including wage and hour laws, ERISA and other similar regulations and statutes.Provides information and assistance to employees as needed. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIESStrong decision-making, communication and leadership skills.Ability to promote a collaborative team environment.

·  Excellent project management skills.

·  A high-level of customer service is expected in this role; therefore sensitivity to others and a sense of urgency to respond to inquiries is required.

·  Advance knowledge of HR laws and regulations related to employee compensation programs.

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

·  Bachelor's degree from four-year accredited college.

·   Certified Compensation Professional designation preferred.
