CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR

Our client is a highly successful global aerospace components manufacturer. They are seeking a new member for their Contract Administration staff. This is a critical, high visibility position located in northern Ohio.

 

Purpose of Position:

Participate in customer/contract administration and order management activities for designated customer sets.  This includes contract administration, customer service and order fulfillment utilizing company-wide common policies and procedures.  The individual is responsible for managing their Contracts Administration and Order Management teams.  The person in this position ensures that all necessary actions are taken to adhere to Aerospace Group business processes and customer service excellence is achieved in the most cost effective manner.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Administer contracts to assure all contractual commitments are met including terms and conditions review and flow-down of requirements

· Prepare, monitor and maintain customer correspondence and records of all agreements and contract revisions

· Responsible for customer satisfaction relative to the order fulfillment and quoting processes including common processes, standard work and tools

· Maintain valid demand picture over 12-24 month horizon

· Support commercial aspects of product development programs

 

Education and/or Experience:

· B. S. or B. A. degree in Business Administration or equivalent.

· Minimum of three years experience in a Manufacturing business with at least one year of supervision/lead experience.

·Experience in following areas is helpful: Aerospace Contract Management, Product Development, Customer Service, Manufacturing, People Management, Operational Excellence and lean office.

· Demonstrated ability to embrace and implement change within an organization

· Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain good relationships with customers

· Detailed knowledge of contract administration and order fulfillment processes
