Location: Cranberry Township, PA 16066 Contact Email: bchop@simplexgrinnell.com Fax: 412-774-2803 JobRefCode: ContSalesMgr050708 Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Business/Strategic Management Experience: 5+ to 7 Years       Job Description   Job Description: SimplexGrinnell, a business unit of Tyco Fire & Security, is the recognized North American leader in fire and life safety.  Consider joining us in the following position located in our Cranberry Twp., PA office.   POSITION: CONTRACTING SALES MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES / JOB EXPECTATIONS:*Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve District, Operations, and corporate goals.*Direct monthly sales forecasting activities for each Sales Rep and for the district and set performance goals accordingly.*Review market analyses to determine sales focus, customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.*Responsible for staffing including:  hiring, training, developing, directing and performing ongoing performance evaluations to develop sales reps.*Participate in lunch-n-learns, customer trade shows and industry trade shows to promote company products and services.*Participate in industry meetings (i.e.:  ASIS, NFPA, NFSA) and customer involved association meetings (ABC Contracting, etc) to promote company products and services.*Assist in delivering sales presentations to key clients with the Sales Representatives.*Continuously monitor the sales growth plan vs. budget, sales plan target objectives, revenue growth performance, and increased market share growth.*Ensure the company’s sales processes are executed in securing quality business with approved contractual terms and profitable pricing practices,*Manage the sales department in a responsible manner.  Monitor and control the sales department expenditures in accordance with District goals.*Maintain liaison with regulatory bodies, municipal authorities, insurance underwriters and industry association representatives to keep abreast of developments impacting on local operations.*Conduct weekly sales meeting with entire sales team to continue to develop cross selling opportunities across product and services lines amongst the representatives*Administer our lead and pipeline tracking software within the contracting sales teams. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor Degree Proven Sales / Manager Accomplishments 5+  Years Experience in Sales Management  Exceptional Leadership Ability This position is local and does not include relocation. Only applicants that possess the minimum qualifications will be considered.  Candidates must successfully complete an employment background investigation and drug screening.  SimplexGrinnell offers excellent compensation and benefits, including tuition reimbursement, employee stock plan and matching 401(k) plan and more.   For more information on SimplexGrinnell, please review our home page at:  http://www.simplexgrinnell.com/. If you meet the minimum qualifications, please email resume to bchop@simplexgrinnell.com or fax to:  (412)-774-2803  Reference:  CONTRACTING SALES MANAGER SIMPLEXGRINNELL IS AN EEO EMPLOYER M/F/D/V Send this Job to a Friend View all "Tyco" jobs Learn more about Tyco
