Customer Care Representative (Inspections)

Founded in 1963, Tech Electronics has grown to become one of the largest communications-systems companies in the Midwest, now with multiple locations and a staff of over 200.  Our commitment to develop and maintain loyal customers and employees has lead to our success.  We have two locations to service our customers better, one in St. Louis, MO and one in the heart of Columbia, MO.  For over 40 years, Tech has been designing, installing, and maintaining telephone systems, fire alarms, security systems, sound systems, and much more for essentially every type of company and institution in the metro area.

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Customer Care Representative  to add to our team.  The Customer Care Representative receives customer calls, both internal and external, for all departments.  Additionally the Customer Care Representative is responsible for processing and scheduling all customer service and inspection requests. Excellent communication, documentation and organization skills, coupled with a high sense of urgency and an ability to handle multiple tasks and personalities, are vital to the success of this position. This is a customer service position with the potential to advance both within the position as well as other areas in the company.

The position requires a High School Diploma with a minimum of two (2) years’ customer service or call center experience. Prior dispatch and database experience is highly preferred.

The Preferred Candidate Will Possess:

· Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task

· Must be able to learn technology quickly, with a focus on accuracy

· Strong customer service orientation

· Commitment and conviction to accuracy

· Ability to change communication style to fit the situation and audience

· Strong telephone skills
