US-TX-AustinStatus: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Manufacturing/Production/Operations Relevant Work Experience: 1+ to 2 Years Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Under moderate supervision this position is responsible for the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and processing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: For Receiving & Warehouse: • Must be able to use the computer system to be able differentiate types of movements, depending on storage location and type of request • Consistently receive 160 to 190 pieces a day or reach a minimum of 1400 points in the point system • Understands the receipt of component/materials into the Warehouse; from breaking down of pallets (grouping), to recognizing PO#’s, verifying counts, to transactions to receive into PINEHURST • Must differentiate between dock to stock material and items to be received in as a direct purchase • Determines stock needs and shortages; advises Production Control of the requirements • Performs material handling duties in any area assigned • Interacts with Inventory Control to report variances, and conduct variance research accordingly • Actively communicates with Leads and Line Leads to obtain their Material/Component needs and notifies them of problems • Receiving /delivering packages from (Fed Ex, Airborne, US Mail, and other Misc. Carriers)For Shipping and Warehouse: • Check for printing mistakes, or other mistakes that might occur because of warehousing or inventory problems. Delete misprinted labels. • Average 200 + carts packed a day • Packages deliveries with use of a routing guide that was set forth by the specialty customer. • Packs international orders and show the ability to create and properly adhere FEDEX international labels for specialty customers. • Pick and pack accessory orders, pick and pack golf ball orders, process orders through manifest systems. • Could be asked to train other employees in pick/pack areas. • Work as a picking coordinator to keep workflow in the picking area smooth and consistent. • Execution of material receipts and storage of all types (golf balls, soft goods, shipping material etc.). • Assist in cycle count process. • Maintain accurate inventory of daily shipping material. • Assist with the delivery refusal process. • Meet all requirements of Material Handler I.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written • Requires basic reading, writing, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and computer skills in English • Must be able to use a computer keyboard • Show the ability to properly print and pack Special ordered clubs Education and/or Experience: • High school graduate or GED preferred • Experience in a Warehouse environment preferred • Experience with Warehouse managed operating systemsApply Now!
