Position Description:Enhances the retailers perception of CBC as a value added supplier and expert in category management; secures category management partnerships or validator roles at assigned accounts.Proficiently use ACNielsen and Spectra data to drive increased CBC chain level distribution and shelf space and uses Pro-space software to expand CBC shelf space and presence.Develops BDI/CDI analyses to identify distribution opportunities for CBC Brands and packages and possess an understanding of store-level opportunities at assigned chains and develop an action plan to increase CBC shelf space and distribution.Conducts regular market SWOTs to continue to develop knowledge and earn retailer credibility.Creates plan to develop team's category management skills and frequently shares category management best practices.Develops suggested 52-week category promotional planners for team members and creates a plan for CBC to own the top-ten beer sales. Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree - preferably in Business or Marketing 5-7 years of Category Mgmt and/or Analysis experience Ability to perform a number of assignments concurrent to one another and to do them well Exhibit consumer products marketing skills as well as "street wise" sales senseCreative skills and practical advertising experience are also requiredLarge Format (grocery or club) experience is required
