Catering Director

Job Description:We currently have an exiting position available as Catering Director for a well known event center in Minneapolis! Your day to day responsiblities will include:* Manage the day-to-day activities of the catering team. Develop, train and motivate the catering team.* Establish a client base through outside sales efforts for the purpose of securing business for the event center.* Achieve budgeted revenues and personal sales goals. Assist management in the preparation of the annual departmental operating budget and financial plans which support the overall objectives of the facility. Complete forecasts, plans and sales production reports.* Assist clients with menu planning, food and beverage coordination, table arrangements, decoration options, etc. Arrange all details of conventions and or catering events. Job Requirements: Atleast 2 years experience in a catering setting, with direct supervisory experience. May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
