CHENEGA MANAGEMENT, LLCJOB DESCRIPTIONJob Title: Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear FitterDepartment/Location: San Diego, CA Reports To: Project ManagerFLSA Status: Regular Full-time, Non-ExemptSummaryThe Chemical Biological RM Fitter will facilitate the fitting of various chemical protective masks and equipment. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.• Will fit to the individual various chemical protective masks including MCU-2/P, M-40A1 and the M-45 using either the TDA-99M or the JSMLT. • Will size to individual protective equipment such as the Joint Service Lightweight Suit Technology (JSLIST) and chemical protective over-boots and gloves. • Responsible for providing a weekly report of activities at the job location to the Program Manager to include but not limited to the number of personnel fitted and sized, inventory levels and equipment issued. • Responsible for management of a limited inventory of CBR equipment. • Required to follow all company personnel and safety policies, and perform all assigned duties in a safe work manner.• May be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.• Other duties may be assigned.Supervisory Responsibilities NoneQualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations • Active Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance• Valid State driver's licenseLanguage Skills• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.Mathematical SkillsAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.Reasoning AbilityAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Physical Demands Using appropriate equipment must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds unassisted in a safe, responsible manner. Must be able to work in the vicinity of hazardous materials/hazardous waste in a manner that minimizes exposure. Work EnvironmentWarehouse setting.
