Extensive experience (5 years +) in implementing IP routing andSwitching Technologies. Extensive knowledge of both Layer 2 and Layer 3 implementations in ahighly resilient environment. Extensive knowledge and working experience with the major routingprotocols (EIGRP, OSPF and BGP). Extensive knowledge and working experience with Cisco's Best Practicesspecifically:o Routing and Switchingo Layer 3 Core Implementationso DataCenter Designo Campus Designo Configuring and Pruning Spanning Tree. Working knowledge of designing implementations around and takingadvantage of:o CSS Load Balancingo Checkpoint Firewallso Bluecoat Proxieso Global load balancing (3DNS)o QIP DNS / DHCPo VPN / Remote access (AS5350). Working knowledge of SAN's switching technologies - Brocade preferred. Working knowledge of ACL's and Encryption (IPSec, AES and GRE). Working knowledge of optical networking (Cisco ONS, DWDM, and CWDM preferred). Working knowledge of QOS implementations and configurationsWorking knowledge of performance monitoring tools and benchmarking tools (NetQOS, OPNet and Sniffer are preferred) . Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) highly preferredExcellent project management, customer service and communication skills to interact with users and clients - PMP certification preferred. Information Technology B.S. degree preferred. Excellent documentation skills specifically in the areas of: o Standardso Guidelines Technical Positionso Implementation Procedures.
