Description Our client located in Durham, NC is seeking a Client Services Coordinator. The hours are Monday through Friday 2pm to 11pm. Duties include: Maintain various areas of meeting service and customer service activities so as to optimize customer satisfaction, internal sales, rebooking performance, and profitability. Client Services: buffet & beverage set-up & maintenance, room & lobby set-up, room & lobby clean-up, housekeeping services, room & lobby maintenance, coordinate catering, coordinate with vendors, tour preparation Office Services: copying, printing, faxing, collating Technical Services: A/V & IT equip. set-up, troubleshooting & basic maintenance, basic networking, basic software (MS Office- Excel, Word, Power Point, CD creation, etc.), assist clients w/ A/V & computer equipment Reception Services: telephone switchboard operation, client welcome & orientation, provide internal directions, internal messenger, registration service, shipping & receiving Concierge Services: Call for taxi/shuttle services, provide external directions, call for reservations, valet services, call for appointments, provide suggestions for dining, lodging, entertainment, shopping, & business resources Plan and implement facility set-up and client traffic flow so as to maximize appearance, image, and client satisfaction. Maintain appropriate inventory levels, according to schedules and need. Liaise with and utilize support from suppliers, vendors, and other partners as required. Seek and continuously develop knowledge and information about client needs, wants, and suggestions for improvement and communicate this to relevant management. Maintain upkeep and condition of all equipment, furniture, fixtures, and fabric of facility premises. Maintain effective oral & written communication with coworkers, supervisors, clients, and vendors in order to relay information & observations, make inquiries, exchange ideas, and report concerns. Maintain knowledge of health and safety, security, and emergency systems, and staff & customer awareness, according to company policy and relevant law. Liaise with external agencies and authorities as necessary (fire & ambulance services, police, health and safety inspectors, maintenance services, etc). Maintain and report on effectiveness of IT, A/V, communications, and other essential facility systems. Attend meetings and contribute to company strategy and policy-making as required. Develop personal skills and capability through on-going training, as provided by the company or elsewhere subject to company management approval.
