Collections Supervisor - to 45K to start

Job Description:Large Utilities company is in need of a Collections Supervisor. To supervise in the development and implementation of the day-to-day operations of Collections.Responsibilities include:- Coordinate in-house and field collections for delinquent payments.- Responsible for third party providers including collection agencies, pre-qualification agencies, pay stations, and return check processors.- Negotiates and administers third party vendor agreements for accountability of funds, productivity and timelines.- Evaluates and recommends enhancements to the billing system and other automated processes to maximize use of information technology resources supporting collections.- Develops and monitors plans relative to controlling bad debt.- Supervise and evaluate collections personnel.Supervisory Responsibilities:- Supervises, interviews, selects, trains, schedules, motivates, evaluates and disciplines collection personnel._Degree preferred, 3 or more years of relevant experience a must. Must be familiar with fair collections laws and regulations and demonstration of consumer credit collections business management.
