Communications Specialist

GENERAL SUMMARY:The Communications Specialist develops, executes and manages all communications for the Customer Care department.  Creates clear, concise and professional communications for Customer Care staff to contribute to department and company initiatives.  Continuously improves internal communication processes in order to deliver accurate and timely communications for Customer Care staff.  Works with other departments to obtain communication material that will keep the staff educated on all product changes, new company initiatives, promotions and process/procedural changes.  Utilizes analytical skills and departmental knowledge to clarify and/or correct information received.  Maintains effective working relationships with Customer Care and other departments. RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS:· Assesses and improves upon departmental communication processes· Builds and maintains departmental repository of information· Serves as subject matter expert representing Customer Care· Coordinates and executes effective communication to Customer Care staff· Writes and prepares professional communication materials and documents· Partners with departmental Managers and Supervisors to identify key performance drivers and build appropriate communication initiatives to support knowledge based initiatives· Ensures the continual communication between departments on training, quality and Associate service initiatives· Prepares and delivers effective, professional communication and education to Call Center staff· Implements and oversees programs for improved communication between departments and to Customer Care staff· Tracks status of all communication activities to ensure timely completion· Performs other duties as assigned or requested EDUCATION (OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE)Bachelor’s degree in field supportive of success in professional written communications preferred EXPERIENCE:2-5 years professional writing experience SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES (SKA) REQUIRED:· Strong knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Office and PowerPoint· Excellent verbal and written communication skills· Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at one time · Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with and influence others· Demonstrated ability to develop clear, concise educational material directed at a Call Center environment· Excellent listening and facilitation skills· Strong presentation skills· Advanced understanding of the company’s business goals and objectives· Advanced knowledge of the processes, rules and systems of the business WORKING CONDITIONS:The work is performed in an office environment with moderate noise levels.   Hazards: The hazards are only those present in a normal office setting.  COMPANY: Mannatech LOCATION: 75019 STATUS: Full Time, Employee JOB CATEGORY: Editorial/Writing RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 2+ to 5 Years CAREER LEVEL: Experienced (Non-Manager) EDUCATION LEVEL: Bachelor's Degree COMPANY: Mannatech
