Job Description Job Description:This position's main and daily duties encompass the following: Strong technical experience, versatility, and customer skills working with C-level executives for industry diverse clientele. The successful candidate must have a strong desire to absorb established and emerging technologies and apply them to our customer's needs. Strong with UNIX systems and environments; Familiarity with windows environments . Expert in Firewall solutions and Server Load Balancing. Familiarity with DNS and global server load balancing. Familiarity with Content Delivery solutions. Command of Routing protocols (RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, ISIS) Layer 2 switches (STP, PVST) Multicast Routing (PIM, IGMP, MSDP). Deep level understanding of Applications including HTTP, RTP, RTSP, FTP, sFTP. FTPs, and other applications and application level protocols; XML and SOA experience is highly desired. 5 years minimum experience in the Networking field; 7 years experience in IT is required. Experience in DOD and Government is highly desired, existing SECRET or TOP SECRET Clearance or ability to qualify for same is highly desired. Travel to other sites is required, as needed.
