A great opportunity with MasterBrand Cabinets could exist for you as the Continuous Improvement Manager at our corporate headquarters located in Jasper, IN.Position Summary:Implement proven best practices across the network of MBCI operations through effective project management, mentoring, coaching and facility hand-off. Support local management teams in the development and implementation of Lean/Continuous Improvement projects. Facilitate change activity including kaizen events and training workshops.Responsibilities: Champion MasterBrand Production System strategy and provide hands-on support and any necessary training during implementation Lead effort to implement best practices across plants and/or divisions, ensuring adherence to the principles of lean manufacturing Assist and mentor plant management and CI teams with planning and facilitation of strategic plans, kaizen workshops and other lean activities Coach and train plant leaders in lean manufacturing and problem-solving principles Follow up with operations ensuring successful implementation of Future State plansClick here to apply via the Master Brand Cabinets Career Opportunity PortalJob Experience:Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or other comparable engineering degree, or related, or equivalent experience• Preferred: minimum of 5 years experience in various manufacturing/operations roles• 1-2 years of successful experience with lean manufacturing• Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills (both verbal and written)• Highly developed problem solving and project management skills• Consultative skills• Ability to deliver training to large groups – experience preferred• Experience with change management principles and demonstrated ability to drive and manage the change process• Demonstrated facilitation and coaching skills• Familiar with diverse manufacturing processes• Demonstrated capability to learn product lines and manufacturing processes• Proven ability to work in a team environment• Demonstrated ability to use information technology (internet, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Lotus Notes?)• Negotiation and selling skills to support change management• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks• Demonstrated conflict management skills• Ability to setup, track and document results as required• Willingness and ability to travel overnight up to 40% (approximately 8 nights /month)MasterBrand Cabinets offers competitive compensation and benefits,including paid holidays and vacations, 401k, tuition reimbursement and medical/dental/vision insurance.Great Brands.
