Contracts Administration
Location: Lanham, MD.
Principal Duties and Essential Job Functions:
Performs full range of contract administration functions, from proposal initiation to contract completion and closing. Provides input and support to projects on all contractual issues.
Basic Qualifications:
Must have a BS degree 5 Years experience or equivalent. Ability to create contractual documents including new contracts, amendments, work orders, and NDA's based upon interaction with clients. Negotiate and administer new contracts and non-disclosure agreements in accordance with company policies. Remains current on contract regulations and contract law and proactively assesses the impact of changes on assigned contracts. Advises company and client management as appropriate. The ability to act as principle point of contact with the client and internal staff regarding all contractual matters.
Senior Contracts Administrator
Job Description: Negotiate, review and execute a wide range of contractual documents and agreements of medium to moderately-complex complexity, to include Non Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and Teaming Agreements (TAs). Perform full range of contract administration functions in the contract life cycle, from proposal initiation to contract completion and closing. Negotiate terms and conditions, and interact with prime contractors and internal customers to solve problems. Work in conjunction with various levels of management and employees on several contracts and/or agreements. Identify risk situations and coordinate solutions with management. Support major business initiatives of the Division. Support proposal development and submission.
Additional Requirements: BS/BA or higher with a minimum of 5 - 9 years experience. Fundamental knowledge of contract administration of T&M, Cost Reimbursable and Fixed Price contracts. Must possess knowledge of FAR and Agency supplements. negotiation skills, business and contract writing skills, and analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a team environment, but also work independently with minimal supervision.
Experience working with contract/subcontract law. Organizational skills to balance and prioritize work, interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to multi-task.
