Controller for expanding company

JUS International, the makers of JUS, an all-natural antioxidant superfood beverage, has an immediate opening for a controller at its corporate office in Meridian, Idaho. The preferred individual will be a team leader responsible for directing financial activities of the organization by performing the following accounting functions:

 

.     Prepare weekly and monthly financial statement, commission payment and management reports.

.     Prepare monthly closing process: journal entries, reconcile accounts and financial analysis

.     Identify and implement new management reporting requirements

.     Forecast and budget cash and P&L

.     Develop accounting policies and procedures for a global business

.     Manage external audit and tax preparations

.     Maintain and update accounting/finance system

.     Maintain strong focus on process improvements, automation, controls and staff development

 

The Controller is responsible for directing the organization’s accounting functions.  These functions include establishing and maintaining the organization’s accounting principles, practices, procedures, and initiatives.  Prepares financial reports and presents findings and recommendations to senior management.  The incumbent oversees all financial functions including accounting, budget, credit, insurance, tax, and treasury.  The Controller performs financial analyses of the operation, including interim and final financial statements with supporting schedules and documentation.  Has responsibility for the company's financial plans and policies, accounting practices, vendor relationship management with lending institutions as well as the financial community, maintenance of the company’s fiscal records, and the preparation of all financial reports.  The position has management and supervisory responsibility for the areas of general accounting, property accounting, internal auditing, cost accounting, and budgetary controls.
