Controller (salary up to the low $90's)

CONTROLLER
THE CLIENT is a large, profitable, service industry leader with numerous locations around the United States. They have a 200+ employee division in the western suburbs of Washington DC (in Virginia) which is in need of a Controller.
RESPONSIBILITIES:.....be the top financial person in the division .....manage a staff of 12 in Accounting and Audit.....oversee all revenue and expense reporting.....manage the payroll and AR/AP functions.....generate monthly and year-end financial reports.....play major role in budget planning.....interact, as necessary, with all levels of the division and with outside vendors/customers
QUALIFICATIONS:.....a CPA.....five or more years of related financial experience.....supervisory experience.....a solid understanding of general business practices as well as GAAP.....good communications skills.....a drive to succeed
