Cook Supervisor Department: Food and Nutrition Services Schedule: Full-time Shift: 1st/2nd shift rotation Hours: Job Details:

Provides continuous positive leadership to maintain and improve daily work processes in the department of Food and Nutrition to ensure the quality and efficiency of services offered.

Requirements

 H.S. diploma or GED required Graduate of technical school in cooking or has 5+ years experience in quantity food preparation. Basic knowledge of computer and math skills required. Able to read and understand standardized production systems. Previous experiences in health care food service setting. Able to supervise and assign daily work in absence of a manager. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal required. Ability to exhibit courtesy, tack and reasonable speed in performance of duties required. Previous supervisory experience in a food service department strongly preferred • Ability to read and write English • Serve Safe Sanitation certification preferred.
