Kimberly-Clark is seeking a Challenger 601 Captain and Base Chief Pilot for our DeKalb Peachtree flight facility outside of Atlanta. As our preferred candidate you’ll join an Aviation team which has earned an enviable 59 year safety record. You’ll be an effective leader and a team player who understands the dynamics of a corporate flight department and is not afraid to roll-up your sleeves to perform a variety of tasks beyond the cockpit to ensure the safety and security of our flight operations. In your new role, which reports to our Chief Pilot, your primary responsibilities will include: Day-to-day leadership and management of our PDK base operations, which includes three pilots and a Chief of Maintenance Serve as Captain of a Challenger 601 on journeys across the country and across the world, with primary international destinations that include Central and South America and Europe Interact on a daily basis with Kimberly Clark Officers, Directors, Employees and all other authorized passengers Oversee As our preferred candidate your required experience must include: U.S. Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and the ability to maintain a schedule of 75%+ air travel, including both domestic and international travel First Class FAA Medical Certificate Challenger 601or equivalent rating A minimum of 8 years flight experience with turbine powered aircraft in a corporate flight department Prior experience with Crew Resource Management A thorough working knowledge of all laws and regulations governing aircraft operation in domestic and international airspace Expert knowledge of applicable training requirements and programs Excellent communication and decision-making skills Unquestionable ethical standards A demonstrated professional demeanor and the ability to effectively interact with all levels of managementAnd to meet our desire for preferred experience you will also possess: A Bachelors degree Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel. Powerpoint and Outlook)Oversight f training, operational and regulatory compliance and documentation for all facility personnel, in accordance with FAA guidelines
