Credit & Collections Analyst

Job Description:General Summary:Cross-trained with all functions within the billing dept. Manage assigned individual billing tasks, provides assistance to Revenue Manager and help with site assigned responsibilities.Essential Duties:- Assist revenue Manager with such functions as AR close, training, reporting, billing and ticket closing.- Cross-trained on all functions of the billing dept. Utilize knowledge to ''float'' between functions on an as needed basis, daily.- Manage ongoing credit balance report / quotas.- Uses advanced editing and coding skills to ensure accurate billing.- Keep up to date reference documents and training for billing and ticket entry.- Reviews work to assess its accuracy and identify errors.- Manage RMC disputes email box to bring resolution to new and pending items as assigned by the RMC.- Backup to Revenue Manager for local credit reviews.- Project work/other, as assigned.Supervisory Responsibilities:This job has no supervisory duties.Qualifications:The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.A. Education and Experience:- Required: Associate's Degree, or equivalent experience, in Accounting, Business Administration or similar area of study, and zero to three years previous experience.- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience, in Accounting, Business Administration or similar area of study, and zero to three years previous experience.B. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:- General accounting, accounts payable, and/or accounts receivable knowledge may be required.Work Environment:Listed below are key points regarding environmental demands and work environment of the job.
