BASIC FUNCTION:  To obtain an intimate knowledge of the client’s needs in order to maximize network efficiency and margin.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:   

·  Manage the client’s account to ensure that the client is receiving the best product at the lowest possible cost while maximizing margin and network efficiency.

·  Notify clients to any and all issues with their loads, educate them on industry changes, and alert them of special pricing available for specific lanes they ship in.

·  Prioritize the assignment of equipment to clients by using relevant customer and network information.

·  Determine which accessorial charges can be billed and effectively notify and communicate charges to clients.

·  Ensure accurate and complete on-boarding of new clients and lanes by setting up required notifications, reporting and invoicing.

·  Communicate effectively with customers.

·  Complete or assist with miscellaneous projects as assigned.

 

EQUIPMENT USED:

·  Computers, Lotus Notes E-Mail, MS Word, and MS Excel

·  Telephone system

·  Fax, copier, and system printers

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

·  Excellent interpersonal communication skills with ability to effectively interface with customers and internal personnel.

·  Strong organization skills.

·  Analytical skills.

·  Transportation experience helpful, but not required.

·  Ability to work with minimal supervision.
