Summary: The incumbent will report directly to the Director of Sourcing and Supply Management and will be responsible for procurement of medical device components. Responsibilities: Lead sourcing and negotiation efforts with global external manufacturers Develop sourcing strategies for medical device components which meet customer and business objectives Manage critical supplier relationships to mitigate risk, control cost, and maximize productivity Solicit, evaluate, negotiate, and award complex contracts for specific purchases Administer contracts in an equitable manner including changes, claims, waivers and releases Act as a consultant to our business leadership and customers by providing sourcing expertise and training as needed Lead or participate in continuous process improvement and change initiatives that result in increased cost savings while providing a high level of quality and customer service Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing or Distribution, or related field A minimum of 10 years of progressive supply chain work experience within the medical device field Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Business Administration 20 years or more of work experience covering a variety of different fields/business; 10 of those years being focused on medical devices Other Qualifications: Knowledge of disposable medical devices (used for various invasive procedures in the body) regulatory requirements Exceptional analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills Highly effective interpersonal communication and influencing skills that facilitate decision making within a matrix organization Strong negotiation and project management skills Domestic and international travel is required If outside the area, willingness to relocate to our corporate facility in Roswell, GA Send your resume today!
