Thank you for your interest!Perform development tasks as required to support maintenance and enhancements of existing applications, as well as development of new applications. Support development team in all aspects of database development. Perform SQL tuning as required to improve application performance. Primary database environment is SQL Server.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Development of database objects, to include stored procedures, triggers, functions, etc.Logical and physical database designSQL tuning to address performance issuesTroubleshooting operational database problemsTECHNICAL SKILLS :At least 5 yrs database development in a SQL Server 2000 + environment, with significant experience in SQL Server 2005Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
