This is a permanent position, & interviews are planned to be scheduled the week of May 19th.Duties and ResponsibilitiesTraining. Develop knowledge of business area needs for understanding enterprise data and using corporate business intelligence (BI) tools.. Provide customized training in multiple formats and coaching to business areas to give them the technical knowledge necessary to use BI tools in accessing enterprise data.. Work with business areas to enable them to become self sufficient in retrieving decision support information.Marketing / Communication. Communicate and market new capabilities of Enterprise Data Warehouse program to various business areas with a goal of increase the adoption of business intelligence within the company.. Create and implement a marketing and communication strategy for the department.. Advise business areas on a structured approach to developing reports and analysis using enterprise data sources and BI tools.. Collaborate with departmental team members to ensure consistent use of information and re-use of solutions with cross-functional corporate value.. Maintain departmental web page to communicate important information and departmental successes.. Participate in departmental projects to coordinate User Acceptance Testing as needed.. Job Experience:Hiring Requirements/QualificationsEducation/Experience A bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analysis or a related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Minimum of three years experience in two or more of the following skill areas (three preferred): business intelligence, data warehousing, systems analysis, data analysis and reporting, technical project management, IT marketing and communications.Req'd Professional Certifications Leadership Experience Hiring PreferencesAdditional Education/Experience Preferences . Familiarity with Business Objects InfoView and WebIntelligence.. At least two years experience with relational databases and SQL programming or business intelligence tools using similar program scripting GUI front-end tools. Background with data warehousing and health care data a plus.Abilities/Soft Skills . Exceptional verbal, written and presentation communication skills. Strong people skills and the ability to be resourceful, as well as to make concise, independent and defensible decisions.. Strong organizational skills which allow progress on concurrent tasks from separate projects.. Able to work effectively on a project team, independently and be highly accountable for results..
