Director, Commercial Operations

Provide training and educational resources and the leadership of internal functional sales and aftermarket councils to enable the global sales force to achieve its maximum potential. Initiate the development and compilation of short and long-term strategic business plans.Primary responsibilities include: 1) Strategies - Develop, align and execute global sales strategies and provide strategic context for proposed business initiatives. Develop and implement sales, service and aftermarket policies, programs and systems to support strategic direction. Implement programs and processes to monitor the success of the global sales strategy. 2) Global Sales Expertise - Track marketplace and industry trends and provide information to Business Units on customers, competitors, new technology and potential new market segments. 3) Communications - Provide input into a variety of communication programs including advertising, public relations, trade shows, and business promotions to insure alignment with strategic market direction. Provide coordination and context for advertisement placements to leverage Dresser, Inc., its brands, and to assure conformance to standards. Develop sales programs for new products and services that meet the strategic goals.Requires 10 or more years of commercial experience, along with a strong analytical background with sales experience.
