Director Global Operations

Duties

This position oversees the operations of an organization delivering assignment management and human resource operational services to a broad range of external clients around the world. The incumbent leads service delivery provided by regional teams of international assignment managers and global relocation specialists providing support to assignees in all areas of relocation, on-assignment services and repatriation.  Depending on the size of the regional team, the team may report to this position through a regional service manager.  Functional breadth of services covers payroll, tax administration, relocation, immigration, during-assignment support, benefits administration, international compensation administration.  This position has a strong client relationship management focus and interfaces with the client and with other functional leaders of the business to develop creative solutions for service delivery challenges.  The position leads the design and implementation of operations support business processes and assignment management tools leveraged on a world-wide basis. 

 

The incumbent will assure that the key metrics are measured and achieved at a client level, transaction level, and an employee level.

 

 

Required Experience

5+ years experience leading a multi-region international assignment management service delivery team

2+ years experience working in account manager role supporting operational service delivery

1+ year experience in international compensation and/or payroll and international tax program administration

Business Process analysis and design experience

Superior coaching and training skills

Demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively and handle multiple tasks across geographies, projects, and accounts

 

Education/Certifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, management or related field

GMS, GPHR, GCP or PHR certification highly desirable.
