DIRECTOR INFORMATION SYSTEMS

 

Coshocton County Memorial Hospital is a community hospital located in east central Ohio and is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Director Information Systems to provide management and direction to the cutting edge technology that we have incorporated into our daily operations.  This position will be responsible for the leadership in all areas of strategic planning and tactical operations in support of electronic information processing, voice and data communication, and information privacy and security.

 

Our operations include a 90 bed acute care hospital, a 61 bed long term care facility, as well as several hospital owned physician practices.  Qualified applicants should possess a BS degree in information systems, a minimum of 8-10 years of information systems experience that includes 6-8 years of managing IT professionals.  Candidates should be knowledgeable of open architecture systems in an Intel/Unix environment, server and workstation virtualization practices, management of PBX/voice/data communications, and have experience in vendor/contract management.  Previous experience within a healthcare environment would be a plus.
