GENERAL FUNCTION:Provides management and leadership direction for the development and implementation of technical programs of substantial significance to the company. This role requires the incumbent to have strategic and tactical awareness and experience working civil law litigation cases from a support and processing perspective. RESPONSIBILITIES:1.  Manages the operation of the assigned technical program group, including time keeping, scheduling, and budgeting to meet stated objectives.2.  Determines actions necessary to achieve desired results and develops a program management plan.3.  Develops program control mechanisms to effectively measure expenditures, labor and other resources necessary to manage program budget. 4.  Directs all operations of the assigned program within cost limitations and schedule, including staff, systems, procurements, manufacturing, quality, logistics, and administration.5.  Directs activities of assigned program staff.  Prepares reviews for direct report and recommends appropriate compensation.  Responsible for the continued training and mentoring of staff.6.  Responsible for accurately measuring progress of program.  Proactively identifies and corrects problems to avoid adverse affects to program.7.  Presents briefings to top management on significant program issues.8.  Participates in the establishment of long-range goals and objectives of the specialized technical discipline.9.  Other duties as assigned and/or required. EDUCATION & REQUIREMENTS:1.  Bachelor degree in related technical field. JD preferred, but not required.2.  Must have 3-5 years experience working civil law litigation cases from a support and processing perspective.3.  Minimum ten years work experience in technical specialty area with at least five years managing teams of more than 20 employees.  4.  Proven ability to plan, organize and develop schedules for complex task in support of organizational goals.  5.  Experience managing systems, budgets and schedules.  Judgement required in establishing milestones and monitoring progress in sufficient time for corrective action to be taken. 6.  Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, required to initiate and develop designs, procedures and techniques involving difficult and complex technical problems. 7.  Superior creative ability and exceptional knowledge in area of specialty.8.   Advanced program management skills including cost, budget and schedule performance coupled with strong customer interaction skills. 9.  Ability to travel as business requires.
