Director, Program Management Office
Job Description:POSITION OVERVIEW: Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, this key position is responsible for IT portfolio management, project management, and overall service delivery. This position will work closely with senior leaders internal and external to IT to ensure an alignment of global IT personnel and services with business priorities. Within IT, this key position will drive consistent process and management across the organization, resulting in predictable, measurable services. REPORTS TO: Chief Information OfficerPOSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Implement best practices, techniques, and tools for project management and planning, establishing an internal center of excellence in this domain 2. Establish and maintain an effective IT project portfolio management process, ensuring on-time, to-budget, to-specification delivery of prioritized IT initiatives aligned with business priorities 3. Create and manage a robust operations review process based on common change and incident processes and measures, establishing service levels objectives across IT functions ad services. Ensure SOX compliance and internal business control processes are a part of the IT operations4. Foster a positive team environment, driving standards, consistency, and continuous improvement across the IT functions. 5. Develop a business interaction model and a method to measure customer satisfaction across internal business units and corporate functions
Job Experience:POSITION REQUIREMENTS: 1. Proven experience and track record of establishing and managing PMO organizations, including 7+ years of project and portfolio management experience. PM certification is preferred.2. Program and project management experience within large ERP or CRM implementations, including lead roles as either program manager or lead project manager 3. 5+ years of IT management responsibility, preferably with a senior-level with broad exposure to operations across both application and infrastructure domains. 4. Significant business interaction experience, including establishing and managing service level agreements5. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills 6. Strong organization and facilitation skills 7. Ability to work in a highly dynamic team and fast-paced environment with continuous challenges. M&A experience desired.8. BA or BS degree required, with a preference for Information Systems, Computer Science or Business Operations degrees; MBA a plusMinimum Education Required: BachelorYears of Experience Required: More than 5 yearsExpected Travel Time: None
