Director of Internal Audit

HFMC62102   Internal Audit Director  A well established publicly traded international company is in need of a Director of Internal Audit to oversee all audit operations of the organization.  This position is also responsible financial and control risks, GAAP, SOX and reports directly to the Audit Committee.  This is a great role where the director will be hands on, oversee a small team, have limited travel, excellent benefits and very strong compensation.    Responsibilities: Manage annual SOX compliance, SOX audit, testing and documentation. Determine effectiveness of internal controls in accordance with SEC reporting requirements, government regulations and company policies and procedures. Make recommendations as needed with regard to policies and procedures. . Coordinate Audit activity both internally and externally. Work closely with the executive team and external auditors to ensure efficient and effective  controls testing and remediation of any deficiencies noted. Coordinate Audit activity with key foreign subsidiaries    Qualifications: Qualified candidates must have internal audit and public accounting experience. B.S. in accounting or finance  CPA or CIA preferred.
