At 349,000 square feet, this fully automated facility utilizes some of the industry's most advanced technologies and provides the right candidate with an opportunity to develop a career in Operations Management. We are looking for a Shift Manager to do the following: Job Specifications: Supervise and coordinate the activities of the operations support function, traffic procedures, inventory control ensuring a productive, safe and inclusive work environment Ensure operational strategies are focused on and executed Provide regular coaching, counseling, and communication to supervisors and leads to maximize associate effectiveness and ensure healthy associate relationships Manage supervisor performance through the performance management process Interact daily with inbound and outbound departments to resolve operational issues Seek opportunities for continuous process/productivity improvements Maintain a clean, safe environment and compliance with DOT, OSHA, and Company Safety Guidelines Enforce Company Policy and all work rules and procedures Operate in concert with Company Visions and Values Develop and maintain strong customer relationships Participate on the Local Business Team Capture and analyze data on current processes to develop plans to meet established and future business needs Establish goals, define and plan projects with timelines of 90 to 180 days Facilitate effective meetings, document fact based outcomes and use communication planning tools Qualifications: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong planning and organizational skills are required; project management skills Strong Microsoft Office Suite experience Excellent interpersonal skills and leadership skills Requires 3-5 years leadership and supervisory experience Proven track record of developing Team Leads and Supervisors Ideal candidate will have 5-7 years' warehouse management experience in a fast paced environment, demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, strong planning and organizational skills, basic to intermediate computer skills and knowledge of systems and processes.
