Job Description:Parsons Transportation Group is hiring an Engineer I in Irvine, CA.Position requires a Master's degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering and 2 years experience in the job offered or as a Graduate Researcher in transportation studies. Requires experience with travel demand forecasting; transportation planning methodology including 4-step and activity-based travel demand modeling; traffic simulation modeling tools including TransCAD, Sidra, Paramics and VISSIM; Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) principles, equipment (CCTV, sensors, detectors, electronic pavement systems), and signal design.
