Currently, we are seeking an experiencedProcess Engineer to support the Tissue Converting Process Optimization team in the Family Care business unit in Neenah, WI.Position Summary:Process Engineers at Kimberly-Clark initiate, design,develop, optimize and problem solve manufacturing processesin a manner that meets safety and performance expectations.The Process Engineer for this role will provide leadershipand creativity in the design, development, optimization andimplementation of rolled products tissue converting processes. Candidates must have expertise across multiple technologies in a plant environment and will have a demonstrated ability to effectively provide specific project work direction to a broad range of team members. The incumbent reports to an Engineering Team Leader and receives direction in the form of general project objectives. Responsibilities:1) Lead single or multiple product or process improvementprojects with a financial scope of up to $10 million fromconception to commercialization.2) Provide functional leadership and creativity in theinitiation, design, development and optimization of rolled products converting and manufacturing equipment andprocesses to meet unit objectives.3) Develop knowledge and skills in leadership of theapplication of engineering principles, scientificanalysis, and project management.4) Carry out all job responsibilities in a safe manner.Develop equipment and processes that meet safety codes,policies and guidelines. Provide for the safety and wellbeing of operators, maintenance and other personnel.5) Seek, recognize, define and solve problems/opportunities to achieve unit objectives. Identify complextechnical issues to determine root cause. Explore, initiate, design, optimize and develop manufacturing and supporting processes.6) Assist in the development of others within the area ofthe incumbent's expertise.Qualifications:1) Candidates must possess a bachelor's or advanced degreein Industrial, Chemical, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Pulpand Paper from an ABET accredited College or University.Candidates with a bachelor's or advanced degree in arelevant scientific discipline and possessing applicableexperience may also be considered.2) Evidence of continuing self development3) Strong experience using manufacturing analysis tools, such as: SPC (statistical process control); design of experiments; process capability studies; Six Sigma; Others)4) A recognized leader in tissue converting equipment and processes including technology understanding and development with a demonstrated ability to translate that knowledge into execution of process and capacity improvements. 5) A minimum of 8 years of experience in a variety oftechnical or operational assignments.6)A demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teamsto achieve project results within required timeframes.Preferred Qualifications:1)Specific, in depth technical knowledge and expertise inRoll Products, Tissue Converting equipment and Operations.2) Up to 12 years of experience in a variety of plant andstaff assignments, including Research, Engineering and operations.
