Do you have some QA and HTML experience? This is NOT a highly technical positional but more and editorial position with some QA functions. AGAIN I REPEAT....This position is not for a technical applications tester but more for an editorial person with a good eye for detail....Does that statement speak your abilities? If so, check out the rest of the requirements: Candidate will beta test all web content for editorial and technical functionality. Provide test reports and follow project through to completion. Use bug tracking system to report problems during ongoing Content Management System site testing. Assist in research and development of new bug-tracking systems with QA team. Test all forms of multimedia, including podcasting, and recommend changes as needed.This person will need to be capable of performing editorial corrections in HTML during QA process when requested. Assist programmers in creating HTML pages as needed.Additional Requirements: 3-5 years in editorial or functionality web-testing environment. Basic understanding of Web programming; HTML; HomeSite; Content Management Systems; Bug Tracking tools; Secure FX (FTP Software). Eye for detail; able to multitask; patience for repetitive testing; work in team environment; good oral and written communication skills.Application testing knowledge a plus.
