Astronautics Corporation of America, a world leader in the design and manufacture of avionic systems, has a challenging opportunity in the Engineering Department.

 

ELECTRO/MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

 



•  Interfacing with customers and vendors regarding component requirements

•  Providing data to support spare parts requests from around the world

 



•  5+ years experience in electromechanical design of flight instruments and controls, and surface actuators

•  Experience with mechanical components used in flight instruments and controls, including gear trains and display elements, materials and finish requirements

•  Must be familiar with servo components and associated electronics

•  Must have the ability to troubleshoot manufacturing/field problems

•  Systems familiarity with inputs/outputs of Navigation equipment preferred

•  Must be familiar with military/FAA specifications for components and environmental test 

•  Excellent communication and writing skills

•  BSME/EE required
