The Allied Pilots Association (APA) is the largest independent airline pilot labor union in the world. Located just south of DFW airport and across the street from American Airlines headquarters, the APA represents over 10,000 active and retired AA pilots.

 

Job Description:

 

The APA Benefits Department represents its member pilots in employee benefits matters including group health care, pension, life insurance, disability and other plans.

 

We are seeking to fill an entry level administrative position designed to assist the department in performance of its duties.

 

The successful candidate will:

 Be highly motivated to serve an employee benefit group in a large corporate environment.Have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Have an ability to work independently while displaying top office organizational skills.Possess strong English composition and editorial ability. Have advanced Microsoft Office skills including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook with keyboarding speed of 75 wpm. Have completed a minimum of two years of college (four year degree preferred) with a major in business, human resources, employee benefits, English or related fields.
