Job Description:Starting wage is $12.00 per hour. BlueCross BlueShield of Minnesota offers an excellent benefits program including medical, dental, 401k with company match, annual cash incentive program and retirement contribution, over 4 weeks of paid time off per year, 8 paid holidays, company paid life insurance and long term disability, etcSummary: The Enrollment Specialist II position is responsible for performing advance membership functions, responding to inquiries, and administering client specific requirements in a timely and accurate manner to ensure that members have appropriate access to health care.Accountabilities: 1. Researches, analyzes and resolves membership applications and/or electronic enrollment reports to ensure timely and accurate processing.2. Initiates, researches and responds to membership inquiries via telephone and/or written correspondence.3. Analyzes and reconciles various types of accounts receivables related to enrollment processing that are submitted via check or electronic funds transfer.4. Enters data into the membership system to update and/or generate appropriate member information.5. Processes routine status codes to release claims for final adjudication.6. Attends meetings with group contacts and/or key account representatives.7. Technical resource for Enrollment Specialist I's.8. Navigates and analyzes pertinent data from various systems to apply appropriate membership related business rules.Qualifications: Required:1. High school diploma or equivalent.2. One year of application processing, customer service, or healthcare claims experience. 3. PC/keyboarding skills.4. Analytical skills.5. Proven written and verbal communication skills.6. Well developed problem solving skills.7. Demonstrated customer service skills.Preferred:1. Previous entry level cash/financial transaction experience.2.
