Enterprise Senior Storage AdministratorWe are looking for some one who can administer and monitor the organization’s storage infrastructure, ensuring a high level of storage system reliability, availability, and capacity while remaining consistent with West’s corporate policies, procedures, and philosophies. The Enterprise Sr. Storage Administrator will install, upgrade, replace, and configure storage infrastructure components ensuring storage resources meet customer requirements as well as participate in the planning/design process for new storage-related projects. Qualifications: Minimum three years storage management and troubleshooting experience required, to include installing, configuring, and supporting enterprise-class disk, tape, and SAN switching systems Working technical experience with installing, configuring, and supporting enterprise-class disk and SAN switching systems preferred (EMC and/or IBM and/or McData/Brocade) expertise Minimum three years experience designing and deploying complex storage solutions required Competent skill set in: backup, recovery, and archive; storage availability; storage management; content/information management; systems integration required Demonstrated knowledge of SAN, NAS, DAS, RAID, SCSI, and Fibre Channel technologies Familiarity with industry standard LAN/WAN standards required Solid skills in Windows 2003 server and/or Unix (AIX 5.x and RHEL 3.x/4.x) operating systems required SNIA certification as an SCP, SCSE, SCA, SCSN-E or Cisco CCNA equivalent Associate's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in computer science, information systems, electrical engineering, or a related field is required Bachelor's degree preferred Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for education requirements West Corporation competes in a broad business process outsourcing industry providing solutions to many of the world’s largest companies.
