Executive Chef

Private Country Club located in Essex County, New Jersey is seeking an Executive/Working Chef. The club has 380 members and has $1.2 million in food sales annually. The club is open 11 months of the year. The food outlets include a 60 seat grill, 100 seat restaurant a seasonal snack bar and a 150 seat event room.

The candidate is responsible for all food purchasing and production. Will develop all menus and control food and labor costs. Responsibilities include hiring, training, supervising and scheduling of all kitchen employees. Assistance in food preparation is also required. The current staff consists of 9 culinary and 7 utility positions.

The individual will report directly to the General Manager.

This is a full time position which includes vacation, health benefits, 401k program and year end bonus.
