American Safety Services, Inc. is searching for a hands on Chief Financial Officer to direct and oversee all the financial activities for our growing corporation; including preparation of current financial reports as well as summaries & forecasts for future business growth. The CFO will over see accounting departments, budget preparation and audit functions; manage and monitor finance, accounting, billing and auditing procedures.

 

Duties & Responsibilities: Set up & maintain relationships with banks and other financial institutions to assure funding for the company’s activities.Monitor and evaluate changes needed related to the company's automated financial and information systems.Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards.Analyze cash flow, cost controls and expenses.Analyze financial statements to pinpoint potential weak areas.

Required Skills:Must possess BS/BA in Accounting Must have a minimum of two years experience as CFO Excellent analytical and organizational skills Ability to successfully work in a fast paced and changing environment Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections. Proven abilities to motivate and develop teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
