Job Overview: Deloitte Services LP is currently seeking an Experienced Hire Recruiter for the Northeast region. This position is responsible for the full life cycle of experienced hire recruiting for one of our businesses. The incumbent will work closely with Partners, Principals, Directors and Managers to fill positions in a timely fashion within the designated areas. Job Responsibilities: - Understand defined market attributes to assist in developing recruiting strategies for long term and sustained growth - Manage assignments, technical/business line content, budgets and practitioner resources for experienced hire recruiting activities - Recruit new staff for specific business lines based on approved plans and staffing projections - Collaborate with leadership to assess needs, develop strategy and implement work plans to meet the needs of the designated practice areas - Communicate progress to partners and principals - coordinate ad-hoc reporting regarding recruiting progress - Proactively manage sources used to generate candidate pipeline with little supervision - Source candidates through various mechanisms (direct, internet, referrals, research, relationships, etc.) - Manage recruitment process for candidates at staff through senior manager levels - Develop and cultivate relationships with various levels of management, candidates and external recruiting sources - Play an active role on the Northeast region recruiting and human resources team, assisting with other areas as needed. - Manage the recruiting/hiring process which includes: Create Job Specifications Source candidates for respective industry/service areas Communicate needs to staff to generate referrals/leads Create/place advertisements - job postings Prescreen candidates for all levels Follow up on open issues - employee referrals Negotiate compensation Ensure information is properly maintained for reporting purposes within the Recruiting Management System Manage recruiting costs effectively - Bachelor's degree and at least 7+ years of recruiting experience, with 2 years in a professional services environment preferred or Financial ServicesIndustry. - Problem/issue identification and resolution, project management, communication and presentation skills for both internal and external audiences, strong interpersonal and analytical skills, negotiation and facilitation skills to deal with delicate issues appropriately. Intimate knowledge of all steps in the full life cycle of recruiting experienced hires. - Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications. Experience with candidate tracking applications preferred.
